Back to Back strongly believes that the right to privacy of people who use its services or work at Back to Back must be respected.
Back to Back complies with the National Privacy Principles, the Information Privacy Principles, the Health Privacy Principles and the Commonwealth and Victorian information privacy laws.
Back to Back has developed a written privacy policy called the Back to Back Privacy Policy. It describes how Back to Back looks after personal information which is needed for Back to Back to provide services to people with a disability.
The policy tells how Back to Back what it must do:
- When Back to Back collects personal information
- Before Back to Back can use or give out personal information
- When it asks people to give Back to Back personal information.
- To make sure people can have access to, and correct, personal information.
- To make sure people know how to complain about Back to Back's handling of personal information.
