“ Back to Back Theatre is a company with five actors who are Rita, Nicki, Sonia, Simon, Mark. General Manager, Suzanna and Bruce. They do workshops, clean office. They go on trips and shows around the world and make cups of tea and coffee. They have board meetings on Thursday nights at 6pm to 8pm.”

“ Back to Back Theatre rejoices in the notion of original thought. We aim to discover the likeness between things which seem unalike, create meaning from complex patterns, discover a new underlying order. Theatre should engage all senses - visual, tactile and olfactory. Our vehicle is all mediums, known and unknown. We allow form to define itself, to deliver dynamic and enhanced performance that exists in endless suspension and oscillation. We acknowledge that individuality manifests itself in forms independent of conceptual analysis and the marketplace. We aim to challenge, to enrich, to liberate from the familiar, to liberate from conditioned response. We aim to transform experience, to go beyond what is known.”
